Countertenor Cenk Karaferya graduated with a Masters in Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama; he is currently continuing his Advanced Diploma studies with Andrew Watts and Yvonne Kenny.
Cenk is a proud recipient of the Borusan Music Scholarship. In opera he has performed Annio in Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito (Teatro Manoel), Swallow in Dove's Little Green Swallow (BYO), Artemis in Henze's Pheadra (Guildhall Opera School), Spirit in Purcell's Dido & Aeneas (Opera de Bauge) and Erato in Gluck's Il Parnaso Confuso (Wilton's Music Hall). In concert Cenk has appeared at Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, London Handel Festival, Centro Cultural de BelémLisbon, 2nd Valletta International Baroque Festival, and many other prestigious national and international venues.
